I concentrate solely on math for kindergarten to grade 9 students. I also work with grade 10-12 essential math students.

I DO NOT work with grade 10-12 Pre Calculus and Applied math students at this time.

During every session I start with a warm up which could include a puzzle or a problem to solve. Then we work on mental math skills. For the majority of the time we work on knowledge and skills and/or homework help. If times allows we end with a quick math game.

Sessions are prepaid monthly. I accept cash, etransfer or credit card. Session are $50 for the hour.

Sessions take place in my home in south Winnipeg.

I also offer lessons online through Zoom for student in grades 7-12.

The majority of companies are not run by certified teachers and do not have the skills to adapt to varying abilities and differences. These companies will either rely on your child’s teacher to provide homework, or they will teach out of provided workbooks. The work is typically not engaging and the tutors do not have the experience in teaching pedagogy to adapt.

Absolutely! I want to meet your child where they are, build their confidence, and work towards their goals.

That is fine! Ideally I like to know what the student is working on in school so I can provide support in that area. That can be done various ways.

I always plan for the full hour based on the knowledge I have of the student. If they bring homework, or need help with something they are currently doing in class I adapt and we fit that in!
